Ruining the game be it taking too long or getting decisions badly wrong/or highly questionable at best like Coventry have been robbed of a famous last minute goal.
Hope they can still win on Penalties and go through with justice being done anyway.......
A fucking outrageous decision by faceless cunts in a truck somewhere in a dogging car park, no doubt.

I've started watching some lower league football where var isn't being used. I'm finding myself enjoying that more. Although I suppose if it sticks around var might make it down to those games as well.

Scrap it, its a major part of ruining football
Unless a computer applies the same logic and calculations to every single decision it won't work
the problem is the refs that need the help are the same ones using it. Its still open to way too much human interpretation and error
If it does persist, then refs should go into a league table. A points system is created for each game, points deducted if they get a decision wrong.........same for if the PGMOL have to apoligise after etc
increase the wages and the bottom 3 each season go down to the championship, top 3 come up for a season. Only way to increase performance levels than the shit we are seeing each week.
There simply isn't a case for me that VAR has improved football for anyone, both inside the ground or at home

Utterly pointless. The ref watches the replay and points to the spot - we all know it's a penalty. Him on the PA saying 'It's a penalty, there was a foul' adds nothing.
Wasn't this tried elsewhere at some point?

Unless people in the stadium hear the conversation between VAR & ref its just going to be the ref saying 'Defender didnt get the ball, foul tackle ... Penalty'.
I'd be more interested in refs being obliged to do a post match interview like managers are forced to do

Maybe being cynical, but so what? So the referee informs the crowd why he has made the decision he has, the fans of the team the decision favours cheer and celebrate, while the fans of the team the decision goes against don't accept his reasoning, let out a loud boo, followed by a chorus of you don't know what you're doing?

Was surprised to see on Sunday, watching El Classico, that Spanish refs don’t yet have the aid of goal line technology.
It is good because it works instantly whereas on Sunday the officials went over the var type footage again and again to determine if the whole of the ball crossed the plane of the goal line.

It is VAR. The decision would never have been overturned if it weren't for them deciding at the last second to meddle with a decision that was already accepted by everyone. Including the Man Utd players, manager and supporters. It's fucking horrific what's been taken away from Coventry who fully deserved their place in the Final sun and against City with another much needed huge payday coming their way. Oh yeah and the outside chance of maybe just maybe winning the thing.
Imagine how we'd have felt being robbed of the last Club to win the FA Cup outside the top League cos of some faceless unaccountable truck fucking car park dogger....
People quite rightly should be in uproar if fans genuinely care about the game. VAR is killing the game be it shocking decisions when they occur like this, or completely slowing up play.
Fuck it right off before it does any more damage.

It’s not the VAR as such and the technology it’s still cunting refereeing and therefore the big boys will always benefit . Take the penalty against us at Newcastle . VAR says should take a look which I think is fair enough. The ref seeing Philips back to goal trying clear and Gordon sticks his foot in front of him. How the fuck is that a penalty ???!

You could see it looked suss at the time with how close the lines were drawn together. The whole things stinks and Coventrt have been sickengly robbed of a famous win and a Cup Final place that was rightly theirs to take.
